The animals removed from these conditions are the lucky ones. Many die before we arrive. Thank you to all who donated funds to help with their care and veterinary treatment. Our "Lucky to Be Alive" fund has been drained this fall by one needy animal after another.

As a foal, Cinderella (as in "looking for a happily ever after") must have had a halter on that was never removed and grew into her face. leaving her deformed and scarred for life.



Too weak to stand, she laid down in the trailer while being transported. It took 5 people to get her standing again when she would try to get up after laying down to rest..
